TRITEC Talent - KwaZulu-Natal - Role Description: Job Purpose The Project Manager will manage a range of projects according to prevailing Project Management methodology. The projects will be delivered on target within due date, budget and according to scope and project governance to achieve strategic objectives and/or business benefit. Key Responsibilities This Project Manager will work closely with clients and internal stakeholders from project initiation through to closure. The Project Manager will be required to perform the following high-level duties: Manage delivery of projects according to prevailing Project Management methodology (May include Agile or Waterfall execution) Identify resources (internal and client) required for the successful delivery of the project (stakeholder analysis) Identify project stakeholders, communicate their roles, define level of participation in project, map their communication needs and manage stakeholder engagement strategies through the project plan Capture client needs accurately in scope and ensure sign off by stakeholders Develop project schedules and plans in collaboration with stakeholders Ensure traceability of defined benefits throughout the life cycle of the project and escalate any deviations arising throughout the project Identify obstacles and escalate deviations from project through formal project governance channels Direct and coordinate activities and monitor delivery of resources deployed to the project Monitor project performance and mitigate all project risk by ensuring effective project governance structures are established and effectively managed Identify risks and issues and collaborate with stakeholders to manage the same Monitor and control project progress through the use of PM processes, tools and artefacts; and ensure that this is communicated to the relevant stakeholders Ensure that all documentation delivered to clients are of a high quality and deliverables signed off by the client Manage project closure (incl. lessons learned) and handover to operations (client and internal) Report to programme manager on regular basis regarding project status Skills and Experience: Requirements: The minimum qualifications required: Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate Completed PMP or relevant Project Management qualification (essential) Agile or Scrum related certification or qualification would be advantageous Experienced Required 8 years?? experience managing complex projects in the software implementation environment with extensive knowledge on consulting services as well.
