Nedbank - Johannesburg, Gauteng - Nedbank Recruiting Job Classification Job Family RISK, AUDIT & COMPLIANCE Career Stream REGULATORY COMPLIANCE Leadership Pipeline Manage Self Professional FAIS Affected Job Purpose To evaluate and analys the regulatory reports and provide feedback to the relevant stakeholders Job Responsibilities Manage production process Gathering relevant information from internal stakeholders and populating BA returns Manage, monitor and review analysis and interpretation of information to produce various BA returns Ensure timeous and relevant submissions to SARB Interpret Regulations and Bank’s Act; from time-to-time Ensure compliance with Bank’s Act and Regulations relating to Bank’s Act Completion of various reconciliations between BA returns and Financial accounts Ensure any new products is reported correctly Manage colleagues and client's expectation and communicate appropriately Planning reports, compiling and consolidating various inputs, reviewing and analysing content provided by relevant risk stakeholders. Annual review and update of the policy. Liaise with the divisions on how Regulations and Bank’s Act impact on their business Identify and follow up on external audit issues relating to regulatory requirements with the business Liaise with all clusters on analysis of all BA returns pertaining to their business Play a proactive liaison and consulting role with internal stakeholders to assist them to fulfil regulatory requirements Via email correspondence, meetings, and forum attendance. Open communication Conducting one-on-one meetings Accepting their input Ensure sign off of all returns and reconciliations (cluster and group) Streamlining of regulatory reporting processes Testing to ensure accurate, relevant and reliable output Understand all changes to regulatory reporting requirements in order to continuously improve processes Take ownership and accountability for tasks and activities and demonstrate effective self-management Follow through to ensure that quality and productivity standards of own work are consistently and accurately maintained Inform relevant parties in the event of tasks or deadlines not met and provide appropriate means of resolution Support the achievement of the business strategy, objectives and values by reviewing Nedbank and Business Unit Plan and ensuring delivered systems, process, services and solutions are aligned. Identify training courses and career progression for self through input and feedback from management. Ensure all personal development plan activities are completed within specified timeframe. Share knowledge and industry trends with team and stakeholders during formal and informal interaction. Obtain buy-in for developing new and/or enhanced processes (e.g. operational processes) that will improve the functioning of stakeholders' businesses by highlighting benefits in support of the implementation of recommendations. Contribute to a culture conducive to the achievement of transformation goals by participating in Nedbank Culture building initiatives (e.g. staff surveys etc). Participate and support corporate responsibility initiatives for the achievement of business strategy (e.g.. Green Strategy). Seek opportunities to improve business processes and systems by identifying and recommending effective ways to operate and adding value to Nedbank..
