Package R 281 418 per annum plus service benefits
Matric and a recognized 3-year National Diploma in ICT or Bachelor Degree in ICT (Computer Science or Informatics). Business Analysis Certificate will serve as a Strong advantage. A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in similar position. A valid driver license (Code 8/10)Knowledge and Skills: System development Cycle. Business analyst techniques knowledge beyond theory. Understanding of different IT processes. Knowledge of relevant Public Service Regulation. Understanding of customers expectations . Good understanding of the organizations business and how IT Contributes to it. Very strong communication skills; oral, written, presentation ,facilitation. Technical credibility , Committed, initiative, Objective, logical and diversity focused. Proactive and resourceful, flexible/change oriented. Quality oriented, People oriented ,Credible, Problem solving.
Departmental analysis: Understanding the needs of business and its strategic direction, and identifying initiative that will allow a business to meet those strategic goals including: Creating and maintaining the business architecture. Conduct feasibility studies. Identify new business opportunities .Scoping and defining new opportunities. Prepare the business case. Conduct the initial risk assessment. Requirements planning and management: Planning the requirement development process, determining which requirements are the highest priorities for implementation, and managing change. Requirements elicitation: Collecting requirements from stake holders using techniques for requirements elicitation: Brainstorming. Document analysis: Focus Group, Interface Analysis: Interview: etc. Develop and specify requirements in detail to allow successful implementation using the following: Business Process Analysis: object oriented Analysis: Structure Analysis. Requirements communication: Describes techniques for ensuring that stakeholders have a shared understanding of the requirements and how those requirements will be implemented. Process definition and design :process Identification. Process Modelling. Continuous process Improvement.
